The Canterbury Tales
All good stories start down the pub, and this one is no different. A mismatched group of travellers ready themselves for a gruelling journey. Some have an axe to grind but all have a tale to tell. Can our Host, behind the bar at The Tabard Inn, keep control? What secret is the Wife of Bath about to spill? Are we ready for Tim Pardoner’s latest get rich quick scheme? And will anybody actually make it to Canterbury? There’s only one way to find out?
Eden joined Half Cut Theatre as composer and MD on this raucous actor-musician adaptation of Geoffrey Chaucer’s tales. With funding from Arts Council England, the show toured the UK in Spring 2024 in small and large venues alike.

“…Packed full of laughs, Half-Cut Theatre’s fast-paced revival giving Chaucer’s classic a breath of fresh air…Eden Tredwell’s unique score nothing short of genius.” - Ox in a Box
“Half Cut Theatre are bringing something new and engaging to a very old tradition of travelling players.” - Stage Talk
